Plaza Signage Project
The VTTA initiated an innovative plaza signage project which saw the construction of plazas at five major branch roads. The plazas outline for the visitor the attractions in those areas, with a separate section containing advertisements from area businesses.Norstead
Norstead - A Viking Port Of Trade was opened in 2000 to mark the 1000th anniversary of the Vikings arrival in the New World. Norstead is located on the Viking Trail of Newfoundland on route 436 just 2 km from L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site. It is now populated by 14 interpreters who, through their characters, provide interpretation to visitors.
